  Republic Services has been a part of Southern Nevada since 1997. However, long time residents know that prior to 1997 the tireless employees of Silver State Disposal had been working for Southern Nevada since the 1950's.
• Our family of customers is growing.
  We currently serve 420,000 single-family residences and 21,000 sites that fall within the commercial, industrial or multi-family category.
• We work in bulk.
  Together, our transfer stations handle about 10,000 tons of solid waste daily. We Recycle 5,000 tons per month. The Apex Regional Landfill disposes of about 12,000 tons of waste a day.
• We provide jobs.
  More than 1,600 Southern Nevadans work with us.
• We have a broad focus.
  Republic Services of Southern Nevada is responsible for waste collection, disposal and recycling for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers throughout the region.

  With more than 200 residential routes, 100 commercial routes and 100 industrial routes, we spend a lot of time on the road.
• We're part of a big family.
  Our parent company, Republic Services, Inc., is the second largest waste collection and management company in the U.S.
• Our services are always evolving.
  Customers rely on us for disposal, recycling, medical waste, household hazardous materials disposal and bulky item collection. Service schedules are continually upgraded, as are our disposal and recycling technologies.
